Here are some images of Bert's summer adventures in Europe.

To start off the vacation, he and a friend from Whitehorse rented 2 x BMW motorcycles in Milan and went on a 10 day “mountain passes” adventure through the Engadine (Swiss), Austrian and Italien (Dolomites)

A definite bucket list item for bike riders - 2000km in 10 days over docents of the most exposed and highest alpine passes - some around 3000m altitude - they survived it all.

The big/main reason for the Milano, Alps, Cortina d’Ampezzo adventure (located in the Dolomites),was so Bert could visit the locations where he will be working once again for NBC Universal in January and February 2026 during the Winter Olympics coverage.  - IBC Studio Engineering.

*On a side note*....Bert's team won the “Team Venue Engineering” Emmy in 2024 Paris!
  Bert mentions The NBC Olympics engineering team is really unbelievable to work with.

Then Bert met up with Dawn Priestley Cervo and went with friends to the Amalfi Coast for a week.
