BERT CERVO at the OLYMPICS Feb 2026
Bert Cervo (EventCare Consulting) in Milano Italy covering the 2026 Olympics while working for NBC Sports.
He says he is in touch with all of his former CBC Olympics colleagues and friends there especially Ray Wong (Vancouver engineer), obviously for CBC here in Milan.
A lot of former CBC Vancouver - BC colleagues were working once again here at the games in Milano and in the mountains in Cortina, Livingio and Bornio
Bert does engineering studio support from from 5:00pm – 5:00am “Nightshift” for Daytime and Primetime shows out of respective Studio-A (Milano) and Studio-B (Cortina) – which are actually both there in Milan – IBC (MiCo “Milano Convention Centre).
Bert with former 1984 Sarajevo Gold medalist Scott Hamilton (figure skating) who Bert has worked with him many times for the NBC Sports gang. Scott is now a commentator for NBC Sports
The main TV tower on the Plaza Duomo – across from cathedral – multiple broadcasters have studio’s here, including a big NBC studio facing the dome.
